Typical Wear Expectations
The lifespan of hair extensions depends on two key factors: the colour of the hair and how it is cared for.
Just like natural hair, achieving lighter shades requires more lightening of the strand. As hair is lightened, the cuticle opens during the colouring process, which naturally makes lighter tones more delicate than darker ones.
Because of this, darker shades typically have the longest lifespan, while very light blondes have a shorter realistic wear time.
